Guide Todd Barber finds a lunker in the Park… Photo: Brian Sienkowski

We had some big rain hit the park a couple nights ago. This made the Lamar CFS spiked up significantly, although it is dropping nearly as steep. Of course the mud from the Larmar made the Yellowstone Muddy, but we think it will clear up by the weekend. The good news is that Yellowstone National Park is fishing well this Fall. For those willing to put up with a little inclement weather the pay offs have been solid. Look for drakes on cloudy days, fall baetis should arrive soon. On bright days terrestrials are still a savvy way to fish. Streamers and small tungsten nymphs have been working as well. Give us a call to book a trip! 1-406-222-7130.
